The Kingdom of Righteous

KingDom“Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a Man shall be like an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; like rivers of water in a dry place, like the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.’’ Isaiah 32:1-2

Isaiah the prophet mentions in this biblical verse a Kingdom in which righteousness prevail. It is the opinion of some that the Kingdom shall take place during the millennium, at the end of this age.  However, I’ve strongly considered that this Scripture applies to the time in which the Church of the Lord is still here on earth.

For it is here on earth that the children of God are in need of protections this Scripture mentions.  These protections are here illustrated symbolically by the Holy Spirit as natural elements with spiritual applications. However, what is most important here is to understand where the here mentioned blessings are effected, and that is in;

The Kingdom of RIGHTEOUSNESS This Kingdom is none other than “the Kingdom of God” or “The Kingdom of Heaven,” mentioned on multiple occasions in the Gospel, of which the Lord inclusively calls, the Gospel of “the Kingdom of God” (Luke 4:43). Of this same Kingdom He declared unto those who believe in Him: “the Kingdom of God is in the midst of you” (Luke 17:21)

The God of heaven is a God of righteousness. Our Lord Jesus Christ is “God …manifest in the flesh” (1 Timothy 3:16). He is the King of Righteousness” and is therefore that “Man” that the Holy Spirit signifies by Isaiah that would reign in that Kingdom. “Jesus Christ (as the Eternal God), is the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Therefore, His Kingdom has not only been, or shall be, but like Him, is always “the same.”
In the transition of the factor called TIME, a factor that the Lord Himself created, God has established His Kingdom of Righteousness among humanity.

He has established it by means of His children; His people. He started with the “righteous Abel” (Hebrews11:4), and proceeded in limited form through the course of the millenniums with His faithful children among Israel’s patriarchs, with its leaders, judges, kings and prophets. Up until the day in which “The Righteous One” came and made His Kingdom a universal Kingdom. Before this, the Lord formed His Chosen People, Israel, and made them the couriers of His Law and Commandments of Righteousness. That is why the Lord declared that, “salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22).

However, it was impossible for God’s righteousness to be fully perfected universally by the means of imperfect, human vessels. By reason of the inheritance of sin that proceeds from the Garden of Eden, and inheritance that dwells in each one of God’s children, it was necessary for the Father Himself, “the Son of Man,” to initiate “His Kingdom of Righteousness” here on earth. That’s why the Paul the apostle, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote: “Forasmuch, then as the children are partakers of the flesh and blood, He also found Himself likewise took part of the same, that through death He might destroy him that had power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver them who, through fear death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage” (Heb2:14-15).
